Hi,
Just wondering after getting a Canadian citizenship and passport if somebody leave Canada due to the better job assignment overseas, what are the maximum time duration of Canadian citizen to stay out of the country?
Thanks in advance of your reply.
Nauman
If you are a Canadian Citizen, then no restriction on the same.
No minimum number of days presence in Canada is applicable any more...

You have to come back every year to celebrate Canada Day! If you lived most of your life outside Canada, than you have to settle in NL to get your retirement benefits. This is involved with intense snow shuffling for 6 months a year and 320 days/year w/o seeing the sun. But on the other hand, there's enough moose -eating your flowers- so you'll have an easy way to make up for living.

Mike,
It is nice to hear that you do the same all year around and hope to do this the rest of your life.
I am enjoying the sun all year around.

That's what it was meant to be, just a funny comment, no offense...

P.s.
I bag a moose almost every year with my friends, filling the freezer for the rest of the year. The fish is coming from northern Ontario too with an unbeatable taste.
