Citizenship Test & Ceremony - Sudbury office 2012

Hello,

I took the citizenship exam in late February/early March at the Sudbury office. I have not received my letter for the oath as of yet. I have heard that the Sudbury office will no longer be available for testing but will they still hold ceremonies there? I called CIC and was told that the office is still open but they did not have information about ceremonies.

I also asked about holding a ceremony in my local area for those of us in the north so we would not have to travel the 8-10 hours to Toronto. I was told to fax a letter to the Sudbury office with my intentions and request they contact me with more information. I did this but I received no response. I have someone who will preside over the ceremony and someone to host but without a CIC clerk I am stuck. Anyone have a suggestion as to whom I should get in contact?

Anyone from the north who took the exam in March 2012 receive their oath letter yet?

As you mention the office in your area is closed so your file transfer to toronto and this mean you have to know which one

the average time wait something between 2 to 5 month .in the main time DONT fax local office only send them letter good luck
