I read that it usually takes 1 year to complete the process after submitting an application , but I wonder if for some people it has been faster , when I applied to become a PR the approximated processing time was 6 months, but for me it only took 4 months to get it.

A lot of people actually get it in less than a year, sometimes way less (less than 5 months in my case...).
But a lot of people also need to wait way more than a year.

Expect a 12 months process, take anything less as a nice bonus, don't rule out the possibility of a long process, and see what happens :)

Based on the latest comments on multiple threads, you should expect 12-15 months, providing your case has no complications and you live in small town (major cities have longer wait times).
