I have recently received my virtual citizenship oath ceremony email, but I have a bit of a problem with my ID situation. I currently only have my provincial health card and PR card as my set of ID's but cannot use the PR card as a set because it is already required. I don't have a secondary ID as my foreign passport cannot renewed due to COVID while my drivers license is also expired as well and cannot be renewed in time for the ceremony.
Has anyone who has recently done the virtual ceremony provide some insight? I was wondering if an expired passport be used as a secondary identification document
The email asked me to bring 2 pieces of personal identification, one with my signature and photograph on it (in this case my provincial health card works), but unsure on what to use as my second piece of ID. Unfortunately the email does not include any references for support/questions.

You should reply back to the email that you got and ask them.
Some provinces have extended expiry dates on IDs. Also, why do you think your PR isn’t a valid ID?

The PR card was listed as a required document separately just right before the bullet for two identifications documents which leads me to believe I need two separate ID's
My Suggestion is to carry these:
1. PR even if it is expired
2. Drivers License
3. Health Card, it has your signature
4. Credit Card with your signature on the back
5. Current Passport

If you are from Ontario, drivers license that expired after March 2020 can probably be used as according to the provincial government "Products that expired on or after March 1, 2020, have an extended expiry date until further notice."

Hmmm...I do not think it is checked during the Oath ceremony. Ideally if an individual is not meeting Residency requirements, the person would already be under removal order or would have been denied entry into Canada, and therefore would not be taking the Oath in the first place.
