hi everybody,
i need your help please. i live in Ottawa right now and i am planning to move to Halifax. i want to know how long does it take to get the passport after applying in Halifax?
here in Ottawa it takes more than two year.
so could you please tell me from your experience and your friends' in Halifax, how long it took after applying to the citizenship to get the passport?
thanks a lot.
Citizenship and passport are two different things. You take the oath and become a citizen and you then personally apply for passport.
Without a passport, you are a still citizen. You need the passport to travel.
I have good amount of my friends and their process (apply citizenship - approved - took the oath - passport received) took about 2 years and 3 months in Halifax.
thanks dear. yes i meant the citizenship. two years and three month almost the same as ottawa. it is not faster. have they received a questionnaire?or this is the normal process?
thanks again dear
