My wife and I live in the US. I was born in Canada and have a US green card, still a Canadian citizen. My wife is American. We adopted our daughter from South Korea 3 years ago and she is now 5 years old. She received her US citizenship after all the paperwork was dealt with when she arrived to the US from South Korea.

I was told that my daughter is eligible for Canadian citizenship. Is this true?

Looking at the form online (CIT-003E), is this the right form for me/her to use? Because there's a question (#9) about when she became a permanent resident?

If someone could help me figure out if she qualifies to become a cdn citizen and which form to use that would be of great help.

thanks in advance,
Jim
