Hi Everyone,
I have been reading a lot about PR for Canada and the benefits and all of that.
I have received my PR for Canada and planning to move to Ontario in April 2018.
I have a Few Questions:
1 - How many years/days does one have to spend in Canada to be eligible for Citizenship?
2 - Can we have dual citizenship , i.e. Canadian and also the parent country?
3 - Is April a good period for seeking job, I have heard it is a hiring period as new vacancies come up?
4 - Is it true that referrals work wonders when it comes to finding a job in canada?
Hi Everyone,
I have been reading a lot about PR for Canada and the benefits and all of that.
I have received my PR for Canada and planning to move to Ontario in April 2018.
I have a Few Questions:
1 - How many years/days does one have to spend in Canada to be eligible for Citizenship? 3 x 365 days out of 5 years. Could be continuous 3 years. Could be dis-continuous. As long as it meets the 3 x 365 days out of 5 years.
2 - Can we have dual citizenship , i.e. Canadian and also the parent country? Depends on your parent country. If it allows dual, you can have both citizenship. Else you have to give up one to get another.
3 - Is April a good period for seeking job, I have heard it is a hiring period as new vacancies come up? No idea
4 - Is it true that referrals work wonders when it comes to finding a job in Canada? Yes for a newbie. As Canadian are skeptical in giving good jobs to new comers. If you have a referral, that adds up.
