I just noticed the date on my citizenship card, is 6 months before the date I had the oath ceremony. How is this possible?

The date of the citizenship card is supposed to be the date when the card was produced, not the date you became a citizen. So, if it was given to you on your oath ceremony, it must show a date prior to that I guess...

@forw.jane it's a citizenship proof that IRCC stopped giving more than 10 years ago. Similar to a PR card but for citizen.
