sorry was not monitoring this thread closely...

I got DM around Feb 20th time frame (about 3 weeks after I sent my RQ response) and since then I am waiting for my Oath.

I have a potential job offer where I would get better contract (compensation/vacation) if I have canadian citizenship compared to my current citizenship.

I have been waiting for "decision made" since Feb 22 (passed test with 20/20 on that date).

You would need an offer letter, which states that the offer is conditional you acquiring Canadian citizenship.

You can do the request yourself; the instructions are on the page I linked. Note that it does say "Even if these conditions apply to you, we may not be able to process your request urgently. If we do process your request urgently, we may not be able to do it in time to help your situation."

If you want to involve your MP's office: contact your MP's office. There will be someone on staff there who deals with this kind of request. You may need to make an appointment to go see them, or you may be able to talk to them over the phone. Explain your situation and that you have a job offer that is conditional, and if they can assist applying for urgent processing.

The steps are exactly as btbt suggested. I was unable to obtain a formal offer letter due to my citizenship. All I had was an email saying that they are interested in hiring me and that it is conditional on my obtaining Canadian citizenship. I filled in the web form, emailed my MP and then went and met with the MP's constituency manager. I did not try taking an appointment as I didn't have the time. He agreed to put in a request the same day with IRCC and we were approved the next day. I got a reply for my web form request a week after (saying that we were approved). So I am guessing that it was the MP's intervention that did the trick. And an eloquent explanation letter goes a long way.

I received a letter asking me to submit the physical presence calculator again. I updated it online and wanted to update couple of dates. It is not letting me modify or remove. Do I need to re do the calculation all over again or is there a way to modify/remove some entries. Thanks

Hi Guys, i'm planning to travel soon after finally receiving my AOR, it is an extended trip to the states for 3 months period
my question is, after receiving the AOR do we receive any correspondences my regular mail such as if any RQ, FP or the test invitation or it is all through Emails ?

For everyone, RQ and FP tend to be sent by letter, not by email.

Depending on which office processes your application, everything may be sent by letter and not by email.
