Hi,
I am going to file my citizenship application but there are two issues that I needed help with. The first issue is about the passport that I currently hold which is from Pakistan and that is expired. Would I be needing a valid Pakistani passport to apply for Canadian citizenship? The second issue is related to requirement of IELTS. I read it somewhere that even if the certificate has expired CIC would accept it and a copy of the result sheet should be attached to the application. Would they accept a copy of an expired IELTS certificate? Your help is much appreciated.
Regards

1. No, you don't require a valid passport.
2. Yes, a copy of IELTs used for Immigration is fine.

1. No, but not having a valid passport or having gaps in passports can delay the process by raising red flags. Last time I checked, they examine the passport page carefully...
2. Yes, absolutely!
