Hello,
I applied for family sponsorship almost 11 months ago, sponsoring my wife and child, but we fell under secondary review for a sponsor. What happens if I apply for citizenship now, will they put it on hold as well because our sponsorship application is complicated?
Thanks for your advice.

It would depend on why the sponsor is under secondary review. If it has anything to do with RO, then that could impact the citizenship application.

Thank you for your response. We don't know the reason why the sponsor is on secondary review; the only thing I see in the notes at the end where the program assistant comments is that they mentioned
Stat Questions Sch. A, perhaps because we mentioned that the sponsor's first PR application in the past was rejected, but the reason was legitimate, nothing wrong. Otherwise, the sponsor's background while in Canada is crystal clear and as a sponsor I meet all the requirements to sponsor my family. If RO means residency obligation to be eligible to apply for citizenship, I have no problem with that either.
