Citizenship Application - Type or Handwritten

The application said "PRINT IN INK OR TYPE". Does it mean it must be filled out at the computer and provide CIC with the printed copy? Can I complete the form by handwritting with pen. It doesn't say it allows blue or black pen. Any advice? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure I filled mine out with black pen and had no difficulties (took the oath 2 weeks ago). "Print in ink" means with a pen, "type" means with computer or typewriter. Do people still have typewriters?

Go for typed to avoid error. Any misspelling will take long Time to fix If cic did not understand a letter or something
