I came to canada in the FSW category. I just wanted to know if it will make any difference to the waiting time for citizenship application processing if I stay in winnipeg or apply from Toronto?

Toronto is quicker than Winnipeg, however your application is sent to the office nearest to your residence.

Oct 2011 confirmation letter and study book received
Dec 2012 started processing
Jun 2013 RQ
Jul 2013 Documents Sent
Dec 2013 Notification to prepare for test
April 2014 test date notification
May 2014 Test

You should be hearing from CIC this month as you wrote in April. After your test they mention a wait of 2-4 months before you hear back
