On the citizenship application, there is a question asking me to provide travel documents (eg passports) held during my 5 year period. I have been a PR for 10 years, and during the first 2 years my native US passport expired. I have not gotten it renewed, nor do I plan to return to the US to renew it. I still have my old expired passport. Do I provide my old expired passport or do I say I have no travel documents during my 5 year period?

Seems to be like that. But if it is me, I would give the details of the expired passport as well us explain why did not renew it. It gives kind of complete picture, I think. It gives a peace of mind as IRCC may not come back and tell that you did not provide certain information... more info would not hurt...
