Hello, I got Canadian PR in 2018. Did soft landing that time and permanently moved to Canada in 2020.
I have paid Canadian taxes for 2020, 2021, 2022 and will be paying for 2023. I understand that I have to pay taxes for 3 full years which I will satisfy but do I need to retro file taxes for 2018 and 2019 even though I was not a resident just for compliance purpose for getting citizenship?
