Going through the forum, I noticed background checks for several applications at CIO Sydney are stuck at NA for more than a month after medicals passed, including mine. I decided to create this thread for us to track our timelines so we can have realistic expectations from CIO Sydney, including when they move our files to LVO.
Timeline below:
AOR : 25 April
Med passed: 18 June
IPI/NA: 19 June
No updates since then. File still at Sydney after enquiry last week
I got a reply on 21 July that my application was being processed at CIO Sydney. My timeline;
AOR: 21 April
Med passed: 20 June
IP1: 21 June
NA: 21 June
No additional document has been submitted.
Sydney seems to be taking their time. I can only hope we get our PPR soonest.
Cheers

Thanks for replying. We have similar timelines. I do hope that we get PPR soonest. I intend to send another email by end of the month just to confirm if my file has been transferred to another office, maybe local visa office.

@Skyler68, not sure where all of that happens. My guess is that CIO or Ottawa and LVO is for mere finalisation, otherwise I wouldn't know why they are keeping the files long after medicals passed.

Hi, when last did you get a mail that your file was still in CIO? They may have concluded their part and transferred to Paris or in queue to be transferred. Try to contact Paris in another five days. By the way, do you live in France? Wondering why yours was transferred to PVO
Yea Nubi, i live in Paris....i got a mail that its with CIO on 20th July, called yesterday and was told its been transferred. I will definitely contact Paris again in few days.

Wish you speedy processing from here. You can use immitracker to estimate how much time PVO spends in processing.
Based on my observation with files stuck at CIO, it seems CIO keeps the files for about 100-110 days post AOR before sending to LVO.
Patiently waiting
