CIC message - you have a dependent child to include in your application for Permanent Residence???

Hello All,

I am in a weird situation right now, my permanent resident application got updated today and CIC sent me a message. The message states:

Thank you for informing our office of your intention to add a dependent child to your application.
OR
After reviewing the information you provided in your application, it appears that you have a dependent child to include in your application for Permanent Residence.

In reality, I submitted my application with no spouse/ children (I'm still single). Does anyone have any idea or anything as such has happened with anyone?

What steps should I take now?

Please help.

It is a mistake; it happens.

Send them a case specific enquiry and explain that you received the message in error:
