hello, is it possible for CIC to change the visa processing office I requested in the form?
I live in mainland China, not one of the province under the Hong Kong visa administration.i requested to have my case processed in Beijing but CIC gave me Hong Kong.
I am a foreigner living in China.
They said in the approval letter that the Hong Kong office was selected based on my location and in accordances with the Canadian immigration refugee act or something.
Has anyone ever had a situation like this?

Yes, CIC has now removed that option from the immigration application forms. They can, and will, send your application to wherever they wish. You no longer have a preference.
