Cic asking for Medicals for my wife's TRV- does this mean that the TRV is approved?

It's been 4 months I applied for Trv. I also applied for spousal sponsorship and it's in process.

I got medical requests for both applications, spousal and TRV with a day in difference between emails.

I am curious to know

1) does this mean TRV is approved? ( If medicals are passed )

2) can I use same medical to submit to both applications?

1. No, it does not mean she has been approved for a TRV

2. Yes, you can submit the same medicals for both applications

Why would they request medicals if there is a chance of rejection?
