If you are working on weekly 40 hours basis, you need not wait till 2 years is complete. You would have completed 2 years of work experience much earlier (based on 37.5 hours per week). So, you need not worry able unpaid 1-2 days.
Please clear my confusion regarding CEC new rules.
I did Master`s ( 1 yr study) and I have 1 yr professional job experience.
I am on post graduation work permit which is valid till March 2014.
I am not sure whether I am eligible for CEC or not.
As per my understanding: CEC category has two type of applicant.
1. Temporary Foreign Workers.
• Require one year of skilled, professional or technical work experience in Canada.
2. International Graduates with Canadian Work Experience.
• Study of at least two academic years at a Canadian post-secondary educational institution.
• Require one year of skilled, professional or technical work experience in Canada
If I fall under category 2 applicant then I don`t have 2 yrs of study --- so ineligible.
If I fall under category 1 applicant then I have 1 yr job exp ---- then eligible.

You will fall under category 1 due to having only 1 year of study instead of 2 years. Now you will need to find out if your job title is under NOC 0, A, B Skill Level positions, and if it does, then you are eligible!
Yes my job title (Technical support professional) falls under NOC.
That means if Job title falls under NOC then study does not have any role on eligibility.
