I am just so desperate with my situation and I would appreciate advices from this forum- I sent a TRV application in CPC- Vegreville Feb. 15, 2016 but realized was not the correct office and application so I withdrew my application on Feb, 23 and request sending back my original passport. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything from them I called CIC, agent says they received my withdrawal letter and request to send back my passport - I just need to wait. After a week, I called again and agent says send a letter in Case Specific Enquiry which I did and after 11 business days, I got a response today stating that the CPC- Vegreville has already returned my original passport on Feb. 24, 2016.
I have prepaid return envelop and I contacted Canada Post - confirmed to me that there is no one using my envelop. I called CIC for what should I do and agents says that my application is not yet open coz there is not in the system. Agent advices me to wait another 2 weeks and if I did not receive it -I will call again and ask to do an investigation :-(
Anyone here with same experience? How come the case inquiry agent tells me that they already sent it back and the phone agent says is not open yet? I even mentioned about it to the agent, she said, she cannot confirm anything.
