It's been 4 weeks waiting for the mail unfortunately it's never come.Ecas just updated again today as below. Wondering if CIC has really sent me a letter?
1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on August 28, 2014.
2. We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on October 23, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
3. We sent you a letter on February 4, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the letter before sending us additional information, as the letter will outline all information that is required. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
4. We sent you a letter on February 27, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Maybe you should try calling the hotline to inquire?
I am in the same situation. This really does not mean anything as it is just a standard letter that they send everyone when the call center sends a message to the St Clair office for an update on your case. I suspect you probably called CIC and requested an update on your case.

-The letter is definitely requesting additional information
- The first letter apparently didn't go out as indicated hence they sent another
- All you need to do is to ask the call centre rep what is in the letter so you can be better
-When CIC request additional documents 90% of the time you have only 90 days to submit
-Call centre rep will not request update on your file unless the approximate processing time as passed
