Hello, I sponsored my spouse 2 years ago, he is now a PR and we currently live in Canada and have been for the last two years... We included is daughter in our paperwork but she didn't accompany us in the process, but now is her time to come to Canada and get her PR! How do we go about this? Do I sponsor her (is she already included in my original application)? Does my spouse sponsor her (it's been two years under his sponsorship)? She is just 9 years old (her mom at the time didn't want her to travel but is ready now).

Also can notarized letters explaining that she will be living with her dad(custody) sufficient papers to include? Or does there have to be official court case ruling and documents?

And FYI: not sure if it matters but we have since had two children born in Canada since my husbands PR! And I'm a Canadian citizen

Thanks in advance

Hi

Your spouse must sponsor her. The original application is closed; this will be a completely new application.

There is no need for court documents. The form you will need is IMM5604, Declaration from Non-accompanying Parent/Guardian for Minors Immigrating to Canada. The mother will need to fill it out and have it notarized.

Your Canadian children and your Canadian citizenship have zero effect on the process.

He could have sponsored her the day after he landed. There is no minimum time required to be here.
