Childcare jobs ending in PE?

Currently I'm in the UK, I'm studying to obtain a diploma for childhood practice.

After I complete these 2 years I want to apply for jobs in Canada to do with childcare. My friends told me after i can apply for PR having worked in childcare. I saw that most of the jobs are for live-in nannies.

My question is do I gave to be a live in nanny or can I work in a regular day care such as the IKEA day care for example, I would be a qualified childcare practitioner..

Not something I know a lot about but once you complete this course you have no plan to gain work experience in UK to make your resume attractive before applying for anything in Canada ? I cannot really comment but not sure how you might expect to secure a childcare job from outside Canada with a major employer such as whatever the IKEA arrangement is as opposed to a family.

See here, assume you have read the info in these links plus childcare as a profession is not in the high skilled category, classified as a C in the classification DB (NOC) whereas skilled for PR is 0,A or B so you would be relying on a specific program to PR continuing.

Hi, thank you for those links I've read them and from what I'm getting from them it seems I'd need to be a nanny more then just working within a day care..

Yes! As I'm doing my course I'm gaining experience through placements in day care, volunteer work with children, babysitting whenever I can fit it around my current job, probably the year before I apply id work within a day care in the UK! I completely understand I need to make my CV as attractive as possible full of experience concerning children.

It's my friend who told me about the PR through childcare and since I want my future career to be based around children or see

Nothing is impossible just might take some time to achieve. Assuming maybe you are under 30 then maybe look at the IEC program once you have your qualification. You will need to have a medical to work with children but that program gives you a 2 year open work permit as a way into the country to then try finding a position to move on from there. Good luck

Thank you! I'm going to work hard to achieve my goal! I will be around 24 or 25 at the time I apply. That's fine, I will take a medical have certification of CPR and my criminal background check !
