Hello
We are a family of six members (husband, wife and 4 kids), we will apply for citizenship in middle of September 2014 as we will meet all requirements.
I am working as registered nurse full time since 3 years, my wife at home looking after the kids and all my kids in schools in the last 3 years.
My youngest son has special need and I have noticed in the application a check mark if my son has a special needs. My question, can this lead to deny the citizenship for my family as I heard before a story of a family that they were denied because their kid has autism !
Please do you have any Ideas

No, it is not a reason for refusal. If the child is over 14 and has special needs in that s/he can't take or wouldn't understand the oath, then concessions can be made.

Hi
I am in the same situation as yours and am sure they wouldn't refuse. I'll update you on the same when my case is finalized.
thanks
