Checking on Application Status?

Hi,

I applied under the Canadian Experience class for PR about 3 months ago and have not heard anything from CIC even to suggest that they are in receipt of my application and it's in the line for processing. Can I contact them to find out what the status of my application is or will they contact me anytime soon to give me an update?

when did you apply in August?. If your CC/MO/DD is not cashed yet, then you have to contact them, otherwise you can wait another month for AOR( i assume you have applied end of aug).

I'm not quite following? I applied I think around October time. What is a CC/MO/DD and an AOR?

I can't even find a number to call them on, it just keeps directing me to their processing time page!

If it is october, you dont need to worry. Currently they are charging Sep Applicants.
CC- Credit Card, MO - Money Order, DD- Demand Draft

Going by the current trend - most likely get some updates around early/mid January!
