it seemed to me that chc-nd was one of the fsatest visa office by going through many people's experience on this forum. but wait right there, i submitted my docs in the end of june. nothing after that except a new file no. and a fee receipt. chc-nd is now taking so much time in processing applications, that this wait is killing me. we were suppossed to receive medical request within 2 months after full docs submission. but nothing has happened yet. i know there are many people who feel the same way, but we are helpless and can't do anything about it. man, i pray to god everyday that may chc-nd wakes up and send medicla and rprf request to ebeyone waiting. hope everyone will join me.

it depends upon NOC i think. i applied under noc 3112 spl doctor catagory and my case moved like a bulet. TO HELL WITH INDIAN PASSPORT OFFICE (i needed an appeance change for my minor kids passport) wich took 2 months. now i submitted passports today. hope to get visa soon
I suppose it might also depend on the supporting documents, when you applied initially to NS, individual case officer etc. I doubt the process has got anything to do with the specific NOC code.

It is to do with the NOC only. Every Immigration officer is NOC specific and more the applications in that category the more overloaded the IO becomes and so on.

i fully agree with u on that. i think one IO has been assigned one NOC only. and it seems that more people from my profession, that is Chartered Accountants / Accountants, have applied for immigration than any other profession. but in that case i feel CHC must appoint more than one IO to clear the backlog.
