Does anyone know if the visa officers actually read through all of the Chats? I'm just curious to know if someone who had an interview was asked about something that was discussed by the sponsor and the applicant specific to something that was in their chat records. I've submitted all our chats (500 pages) plus screen shots of e-mails, facebook, SMS, whatsapp and viber. Just wondering if this will delay our application because they have so much to read through.
Reason why we sent a lot of proofs is because our VO is one of the hardest ones in assessing relationships, therefore I didn't want to leave anything out.
I have no idea if they actually read all this stuff. A lot of material there for some romantic novels. They should all be writing books with the knowledge of information they receive .
At the same time, I hope they don't get frustrated when they receive 500 pages of `proof'. They have to realize that most of us are throwing everything we have their way.
Personally, I suspect that they look at a few pages (randomly) and move on to the next `pile' in our application(s). LOL!
I hope you are right. I also sent every bit of communication history between my spouse and I. Haha I'm glad I wasn't the only one who sent in a massive amount of evidence.
I am positive that they do have a way to screen it down. Especially these days technology has made things easier.
Growing immigration fraud on Canadians have made them to do a thorough screening.
As long as you read all 500 pages of chat logs to ensure the evidence actually 'works' for you and isn't contradictory, it should be fine. I have read cases on CanLii and officers talk about a "lack of substance" in communications eventhough hundreds of pages were submitted. So that would be something to keep in mind. We can only hope they read everything, otherwise it would be quite unfair especially for those who are refused.

Agree with you, however I think often enough the officers quite early in the stage know if they will approve or refuse an application based on all probabilities (amount of red flags etc.) It is possible that when they feel they will be refusing an application they may go through the proof in greater detail to substantiate their findings. We hear quite often that applicants are asked to bring additional proof such as chats, pictures to the interview and in 80%+ of cases the additional proof is not even looked at. I've seen this quite a bit in the spousal appeal thread.
