Changing the type of visa after submission the request before biometric test.

I applied for study permit for a French course. I send the submisstion and now I should do the biometric test. Since this is a language course and I have heard the probability of receiving the study visa for this kind of course is low, I would like to change the study visa to visitor visa. How can I change the type of visa in this stage? (submission the file and called for biometric visa)

You can't. You would have to withdraw your current application and submit a new one.

Do you know how I can withdraw my application. In MyCIC I don't see any part/option for withdrawing.
