Hello, everyone. I am already studying here in Canada and I am planning to change my programs and school. My current program is in Business Management and I want to shift to a health-related program for 2 years. With the new rules, what will happen to my current study permit if my application for a new study permit got rejected? Is my current study permit still valid? Can I still go back to my current study permit and continue studying? Or I need to go home? Please, help. I'm worrying if I should still change my program because of this. Thank you so much and take care everyone.

Likely the first study permit would get cancelled but that is not guaranteed. You would need to continue studying full-time or else it would almost be guaranteed to be cancelled now that schools have to report attendance to IRCC.
