My wife came to canada when she was 4. Her father used a different name to do her papers and we got married using that name. We just found out few months ago that her real name is different. She was with no status in Canada since the age of 4 and was born in USA. I was able to get her american passport from the embassy but now I cannot sponsor her because her name on marriage certificate is different than her real name on her american passport. How can we go about changing her name in Canada?
