Changing jobs with time gap - CEC

Hi,
I have some questions. I could not find this information anywhere.
For an individual to apply under CEC class express entry. If an individual has a full-time contract for let's say 8 months and then to try finding a new job it takes another 1-2 months. So after joining this new job and working on this new full-time job for 4 months will it count towards 1 year of experience? (Even though there was a gap of 1-2 months but collective experience is 1 year). If not, then is there some rule regarding how many days difference a person can have when changing jobs? Jobs are under the same NOC code.

For CEC, you do NOT need a continuous experience.

Hi everyone,

I am planning to apply under CEC. I have 1.3 months of Canadian experience. However, in that time frame , i have switched two jobs. I have a gap of 2 months between leaving the first job and joining the 2nd. I am eligible for CEC, but since my experience is non-continuous will CRS allocate me with 40 points for the Canadian work experience.

Anyone with similar situation please share your experience.(if you guyz got those points or not with gap in employment)
