I just received my invitation to apply (yay) so I'm currently gathering my documents. When I filled in my express entry profile I included my uncle who is a Canadian to my profile, as part of the family members living in Canada section. However, I realised that both my dad and uncle don't have birth certificates that show they share the same parents (it was not issued in Nigeria at the time). We are able to get new birth certificates for them but the process seems would take another 4+ weeks. I was just wondering if I take my uncle out of my profile and go ahead and apply; would my points drop? and would CIC claim fraud?
As long as you don't need the 5 points to qualify for the 67/100 FSW, you can change this and explain in the LOE. If you need those 5 points, best to get the evidence.
Thanks for your response! I'm not sure what you mean. I was only invited through CEC. What 5 points do you mean? I'm at 454 points now and the last draw was 453. Why would I need "the 5 points to qualify for the 67/100 FSW"??
Hi DelPiero07. In my case, I have not got the ITA yet, and if I take my Aunt out of the profile at this stage (when I am still in the pool); should I still be ready with the LOE?

Would changing the NOC code in my e-APR affect my application? I received my ITA in Feb and I have indicated 4 jobs in my EE profile but realized my mistake of having the same NOC code for all only afterwards. The 1st job (of 3.5 years work experience) has the correct NOC code and correct reference letters. This itself should satisfy the points (50) under the foreign work experience section.
Would it be fine to change the NOC code for the others? Even if these arent considered, my points remain the same. Appreciate any guidance.

I received an ITA after submitting my Express Entry profile. I am primary applicant , However, I realized that I had made an error in the Accompanying, Express Entry Spouse Form - 'Study and language'->official language section-can XXX communicate in English/French? and mistakenly I answered 'neither' instead of 'Yes' as my spouse can communicate in English.
(PS:I am not using spouse language test points)
What do I do? shall I answer this question as ‘Yes’ in post ITA form while submitting PR application.

Hi Mate
Another random question - when it says First Name(s) it is asking for first and middle name. I forgot to put in my middle name, however, and it's a locked field now; if I can't edit now, If I submit with just first name, and all her documents have her middle name, can I just write an LOE explaining the situation ? or should i decline the ITA
