Hello seniors and consultants here. I hope you guys can enlighten me with this topic. I am a foreign worker in a restaurant..i woukd like to switch job and be a caregiver instead..under LCP.. can it be posible? I came here 1year ago and had only worked 2months..but i worked in honkong the last 5years. What should i do and what are the risks? Please help. Thanks.

Yes - you can switch. Your new employer will first need to obtain a new approved LMO and then you will have to apply for a new work permit. Make sure you meet the crtieria to be an LCP - you either need to have recent experience or recent training that is related to being a live in caregiver.

I would recommend that you start with getting the right training. This will be essential to succeed. Once you have the training the rest should prove fairly simple.
