I am here in Canada currently as a Work Permit holder. This is associated to my wife's study permit, valid until August 2020. However, my work permit had a different expiry date because my passport would have expired on November 24, 2019. Now I got a new passport with the same number but expiry date on 2024. How do I renew my passport/update my information so my work permit reflects my wife's study permit?
On a side note, we applied for PR already and are two months into the process. Should I simply wait to get the PR instead of renewing my work permit?
