Change of work field

Hi there

I have been working as a professor for 5 years in India and applying for permanant residence of canada.. but the problem is I dont want to be professor anymore i want to work in pharmaceutical company as a quality checker before applying for PR.. will it effect my case as an applicant? Should i change the job or not.. i know the person can change the job in the same field but can he apply in different field if applying fo pr with work experience of a professor.

If you are PR, you can do whatever you want. You can take any job you want.

No i have to apply for pr yet .. i am an indian cotizen and i want to change in india only before applying

As long as your work is skilled then you can count your experience. What is your CRS score?
