Change of Study Program in same school

Hi,
I was given Economics when I applied but I made research and found that it's more of mathematics(which I don't really know). I would like to know if the school will allow me make a change in course of study when I arrive Canada? I'm not a fan of mathematics at all. And do I need to notify IRCC?

You would need to contact the school as soon as possible to see if you can change program given worst case there may be no space on the new program.
