I am in Canada on Visitors Visa and wanted to check if i am eligible to apply for a study permit (for 2 Years Program) as an international student and what will be the success ratio.

I am in Canada on Visitors Visa and wanted to check if i am eligible to apply for a study permit (for 2 Years Program) as an international student and what will be the success ratio.

You can apply for a study permit - however your application must be sent to a visa office outside of Canada. You cannot apply within Canada.

Generally speaking, it's more difficult to be approved for a study permit if you are already in Canada as a visitor. It's easier (higher chance of approval) if you apply from your home country.
