Change of job outside Canada

If sponsor decided to change job and work outside Canada(not sponsored person's country of origin), does the sponsor needs to update IRCC and how? Would it affect the outland spousal sponsorship application?

If sponsor is a Canadian citizen, then it won't affect the applcation in general. But sponsor will need to add prove that he has intension to return to Canada with the spouse.
If sponsor is PR, then our application cannot proceed. The sponsor needs to live in Canada to apply for family sponsorship.

You need to send the update via webform. You will need to prove that you will be moving back to Canada in order for your spouse to get PR.
