Applied: Oct 2013
AOR: Nov 2013
Medical: April 2014, Change marital Status. Update to CEC in regards to my marriage .
I got married in feb, 2014 in India and came back in march after that I was arranging all necessary documents for marriage photographs, and other detailed information from back home and meanwhile I got medical request and RPRF. I did my medical and my wife did upfront medical in India. I paid her application fees and our RPRF as well.
Now Its been 2 months I have updated to CEC about it and still no update after this. Is any one in same situation?? This waiting is very hard..... PLEASE HELP
Though I was not on the same situation, it took 2.5 months for me to get my PPR from the date of RPRF.
If you are anxious, please apply for GCMS notes and see if it is pending the "security clearance"
As most of the members in the forum has experienced, it is quite normal to be panicky and get anxious about the entire process, my entire process took 16 months against 10 - 11 months average time and I had the stress of my life.
Just relax and enjoy your new life (read after marriage)
you will soon receive email from CIC asking you to submit your wife application. once you submit those papers they will request for additional documents.(Photos, marriage certificate, telephone call history records, flight tickets or train tickets if you both went for honeymoon)
