Change in Passport Number

Hello Friends,

I have submitted my application for Canada PR and expecting to receive ITA in coming draw. But I had encounter one issue i.e. I have to add my husband's name on my passport and due to this, my passport number will change.

Now, Will it effect my PR process if i get new passport after receiving ITA (on the basis of old passport number) or shall i apply for pr only after the change in passport particulars.

It doesn't impact anything. Just provide new passport details post ITA.

I am in similar situation as of yours. I have submitted my application and expecting to receive ITA in coming draw. And now i have also applied for new passport to get my spouse name added in that.

Now I am worried what will happen in this case, since I have applied for new passport my old passport is cancelled by PSK. Now will there be any issue with my profile since it has old passport number which is canceled ?

Post ITA, get your passport number updated using the WebForm and attach relevant documents suggesting the change.
