My wife (back then fiance) applied for her work permit when she was single. Her work permit is still under process but we have since gotten married.

1) Does she have to update IRCC of the change in marital status?
2) I am already a Canadian permanent resident in Canada so do not need to be sponsored, would it hurt her chances of getting the work permit just because I am a PR?
