change employer wp approval

My work permit expires sept 1 but i already apply for new wp august same employer. I apply for another job last june n positive lmo approved my new employer attched the lmo to my current wp application to changed the application of wp from old to new employer...Is this processing will not cause problem in my current status?It is fine to apply for wp to new employer since my work permit expires sept 1?
