Change Course from post grad diploma to diploma.

I just wanted to ask if one can change the course from post grad diploma to diploma after landing in canada. Actually a friend of mine has taken admission in lambton college toronto in post grad diploma, he wanted to change the course and college as well, and move to Saskatchewan after landing but he is getting post secondary diploma not post grad in SK. Does it affect any chances when he will apply for post grad work permit or PR?

PS- He has done Bachelor of Commerce from India with 62% marks.
