I got LOA for fall 2020 for a non co-op program from a college in Ontario, I paid fees and applied for SDS visa without co-op. Its been 2 months and there is still no update. My biometric is pending as vfs are close in India. Now I have offer from another college in Ontario itself with co-op for winter 2021.
And I desperately want the college with co-op program.
I have applied for deferral in the first college to get more time.!
what should I do now?
1. withdraw from first college and visa application, get refund from first college and then apply again for other college?
2. Can we change to a college which has co-op after receiving visa for non co-op college?? how?
3. lastly, now that there is 2 stage approvals, how will change of college procedure go about.
4. or should I change college after coming to Canada
Please help. Your suggestions and inputs are appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
You can withdraw and try and go for the 2nd college but you don't know how long they are going to take to refund you. There have been cases where refunds have taken longer than 6 months and usually for that they require you to be refused a study visa.
2. You can change but it is only recommended to change once you are in Canada
3. No-one knows
4. Yes

Revoking visa is also an option. but will have to show them proof that i have actually revoked it.
And thats true, refund process will take lot of time and so will visa process.
4th option seems good but that will cost me minimum cad 3000
