Hi guys, I’m new in this forum and new in this kind of things. My question is regarding the student visa. I’m from Argentina and I have made a lot of mistakes with my academic background
First of all, I started studying laws, a couple of years ago because of my parents that wanted me to be a lawyer. The university has philosophy as one of the important courses, and I was really into it. I have always been fascinated by the human behavior, so I dropped classes and started studying Psychology, because it is what I always wanted. Well my problem started there. Psychology here in my country is based pure and exclusively about Freud, I like him and all his theories, but studying that didn't feel right.
Anyway, I made a lot of courses from "coursera.org" about psychology and social psychology that are from USA and Canada, and I realized that it was what I wanted. All the research that I made searching for something similar in my country gives negative results. Hence I started searching for universities outside my country and well Canada is the best place, for reasons that we all already know.
Well, my question is, I quitted both careers and started working in a health centre (my parents are doctors) so I'm in contact with all kind of books about behavior and stuff. I’m truly interested in starting studying in Canada and I've got my letter of acceptance from a college of Toronto, in behavioral science. I have chances of visa if I dropped those two careers? I dropped psychology because I wanted to save money for this, and even if I continue with the studies they will ask why I didn’t finish the career first. I have an score of 96 In TOEFL
