My PR application eligibility was cancelled twice on the basis that my PCC from India was more than 6months old and second time for not uploading my spouse PCC from Australia as he was residing in Australia for his education.
Now the third time we received the EOI in August'15 and uploaded the documents in Sept'15. I received a mail from CIC on 21st Oct'15 stating that your basic eligibility is approved and in order to proceed we need to pay RPRF fee of CAD 490 x 2 (as we didn't pay it during the application). I paid the fees on the same day an uploaded the receipt on CIC website.
My question is, is there a chance that our PR application be rejected now?
Under EE, all applications are processed chiefly at Ottawa with LVOs being roped in if and when required for interviews. These have been reported very rarely so one can assume that the LVO would be involved only for COPR stamping at the end of the process for applicants outside North America.
LVO - local visa office. this is the visa office usually in your ccountry / close to your country outside of canada.
COPR - Confirmation of Permanent Residence this document is what you get post your successful PR application process. you then travel to CA with this and then apply for a PR card which will be issued in about 6weeks to 3 months. this PR card would be your travel document.
