Try to be more patient remember thexactly people who answer questions do it for free. So we have to wait until they have the time to do it.

As for your question, I'm going to apply for the SP at the end of the month so I can't give you a proper answer. But what's make logic for ME is that when they tell you to do the medical is because they should be ready to approve unless you have ano unknown medical condition. Because why would they tell you to do the medical if they are going to refuse you for lack of funding? It makes no sense to me. But again this is just my opinion

Medical request implies there is a progress on your application. However, it doesn't mean one cannot be refused or approved. Prayer is needed at all stages after submitting your application.
