Hi, I have applied to the following universities for MS in Computer Science
-Uni of British Columbia (I know my chances are slim there)
-Uni of Victoria
-Uni of Saskatchewan
-Uni of Western Ontario
I am from Pakistan and here is my profile:
Undergrad CGPA: 2.978/4.00 (CGPA in last four semesters 3.2/4.00) (BSc in Computer Engineering)
GRE: 303 (Q: 155, V: 148)
IELTS: 7.5 (with no individual score less than 6.5)
Work Experience: 1.8 years in web and mobile application development (job secured a month before graduation)
Won numerous competitions for my Final Year Project
What are my chances of admission? Thanks in advance
Chances are pretty good I must say, your GPA is almost 3, and last four semesters being 3.2 is a positive point. Good IELTS, GRE is quite low though, a strong GRE score would've made your profile stronger for a slightly lower GPA.
UBC being the exception, you should get into rest of the universities without any problem. Try targeting a specific research component in computer science, university of manitoba and mcgill has pretty good research options for CS.
