In the instructions it says that documents must include a notarized translation done by an official translator. It's very expensive to get your documents translated by some companies. They charge $60 and up per page.

Does anyone know a way to save on translations? Someone from NJ-NY maybe?

Thanks

yeah they are very expensive. Did you try your embassy? Sometimes they are cheaper if they have a translation service.

Yes, I just checked. It says $70 a page:))))) It's more expensive than other places.

Rupesh, where did you get yours tanslated?

I know someone who can translate them for me. She is quite qualified (she has a degree in lingustics, translator diploma and MBA) but she's not registered with any translation company. Can she translate them and notarize?

i found a place through the internet, but ended up paying $85 per page. I'll check for you once i get back home.

Thanks a lot.

I think I found a cheaper way. There is someone who can translate it for me and notarize. Though this person is not an employee of an interpreting company she has a translator diploma which make her qualified, I guess.
